Microtech Machines

We spend most of our days here at D-94 in the Kagal Hatkanagale Five Star M.I.D.C. area. It is a busy place with lots of other shops around. We started out with just a couple of machines and a lot of floor space to fill. Now the workshop is pretty crowded. There is always someone working on a part or fixing a tool that stopped working right. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when all the equipment is running at once. We do not spend much time in the office because there is usually something that needs looking at out on the floor. Most of us have been here for years and know exactly how each machine sounds when it is running. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It is not a fancy setup, just a regular machine shop where people show up, do their work, and go home. We keep the floors as clean as we can, but there is always some oil or metal shavings somewhere. If you walk past our spot in the M.I.D.C., you will probably hear the hum of the motors from the street. It is just how things go here every day. We don’t have a big front desk or anyone to greet you, you just kind of walk in and find whoever is not too busy to talk.
