Kailas Toolings Pvt. Ltd. is based at G-113 in the M.I.D.C. area of Gokul Shirgaon. This is a part of town where everyone seems to be making something. Our workshop is dedicated to tool making and precision parts. It’s a bit cleaner than a foundry, but we still have plenty of oil and metal dust around. We use various machines to cut and shape metal into very specific sizes. It takes a lot of patience to get everything lined up just right. We have some older guys who have been doing this for decades and some younger ones learning the ropes. The building is a standard industrial unit, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s all about the machines and the work tables. We don’t have a big reception area or anything. If someone visits, they usually just walk right onto the floor to find us. Gokul Shirgaon can be quite busy, especially when the shifts change and everyone is out on the road. We stay focused on our orders and try to keep up with the schedule. It’s a regular job for us. We don’t make a big fuss about what we do. We just make sure the tools are ready for whoever needs them. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. Sometimes we have to work on weekends to finish a big batch of parts, but that's just life in a machine shop.
