Prajakta Engineers

Prajakta Engineers is located at Unit No. 14 in Sai Nagar, over in Uchgaon. It’s a small unit, but it’s enough for what we do. We have a few machines and a sturdy workbench where most of the work happens. Uchgaon is a bit away from the main city buzz, which suits us just fine. Most days start early with a cup of tea before we turn the machines on. There is usually a bit of oil on the floor and the smell of metal in the air. We don’t have a fancy office or a secretary. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our work clothes, maybe a bit dusty from the morning’s work. We take on various engineering jobs that come our way from local businesses. It is just a handful of us working together. We’ve known each other for years, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. Sometimes we hit a snag with a machine and it takes all of us to figure it out. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just like making things and fixing things. It’s a simple shop where the work is steady and the people are straightforward. We finish what we start and try to keep things running as best as we can.
