Shalabh Garden and Resort (OPC) Private Limited is a small operation located at House No. 1257 in Navaladeviwadi, which is part of Nadhavade. We are way out in the more rural areas, which is exactly why we set up here. This isn't a big corporate resort company with hundreds of employees. It is an OPC, so it’s mostly just one person running the show with a bit of help from the family. We have this bit of land and the building where we manage everything. The idea was simple: we wanted a place where people could enjoy the garden and the fresh air. It’s a lot of work maintaining a garden and a resort in this climate. There is always something that needs fixing, whether it’s a fence or a light bulb. We don't have a team of professionals to call, we usually just do it ourselves with whatever tools we have. We don’t use any big words to describe the place. It’s just a garden and some rooms for people to stay in. We spend our days outside more than inside the office. If you try to reach us, we might be out in the back working on the plants. It’s a quiet life in Nadhavade, and we like that our business reflects that. We don't have any big goals to expand everywhere, we just want this one place to be okay for whoever visits. It’s been a few years now and we are still learning as we go along. We hope to stay here for a long time.
