You can find S S Audio right on Kadamwadi Road, just across from Pulse Hospital. It’s a busy stretch of road in Kolhapur, and we’re right in the middle of it. We deal with audio gear every day, so there is usually some kind of noise coming from our shop. It’s not a big corporate setup. It’s mostly just us surrounded by wires, speakers, and various boxes. We spend a lot of time testing things out to make sure they actually work before they go out. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because of all the equipment piled up, but we know where everything is. People stop by when they need something for a local gathering or just have a question about a setup. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby; you just walk in and talk to whoever is free. Kolhapur has a lot of festivals and events, so there’s always someone needing sound. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and the hospital across the street is the easiest way to explain to people where to turn. The work can be heavy and involves a lot of lifting and loading vans at odd hours. It isn't always glamorous, but it’s what we do. We like being part of the local scene here. It’s a simple business run by people who live right here in the city.
