Balaji Events And Organiser

We've been running Balaji Events And Organiser out of the Gundesha Chamber for a while now. If you know the Bhavani Mandap area in Kolhapur, you know how busy it gets, especially being right opposite the Tulaja Bhavani Mandir. It is a lively spot to work from. We mostly spend our days on the phone or running around town trying to get things sorted for whatever local function is coming up next. There is a lot of back and forth with vendors and making sure the chairs and decorations show up when they are supposed to. Sometimes things go smoothly and sometimes we are sweating until the last minute, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. It is a small team here, just a few of us who grew up in Kolhapur and know the streets pretty well. We aren’t a big fancy office with glass walls, just a practical space where we can sit down and figure out the logistics. Most mornings start with tea and a look at the calendar to see who needs what. People drop by the office since we are so close to the temple, often just to ask questions or see if we are free for a certain date. It gets loud outside with the temple crowds and the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We just try to keep things organized so folks don't have to worry too much about their own gatherings.
