Kokan Hotel

Kokan Hotel is located on Shivaji Road in Miraj. We are right opposite the SBI Bank, so it’s easy to find if you’re in that part of Sangli. There is a big water tank nearby that everyone uses as a landmark to get here. We have been operating out of this spot for some time now. It’s a simple setup where people come in for their meals throughout the day. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. The walls are plain and the chairs are just regular chairs we bought locally. We focus on getting the food out to the tables quickly. Some mornings are quieter than others, but we usually have a steady flow of regulars. Our staff knows most of the people who walk through the door by their names. We handle everything from cleaning the tables to managing the supplies ourselves. It’s a lot of work running a place on Shivaji Road but we enjoy being part of the community here. The kitchen stays busy from early morning until we close up at night. If you’re walking past the bank, you’ll probably see us. We try to keep the place organized, though it gets a bit hectic during the rush hours. We don't use a lot of fancy equipment, just what we need to get the job done right. People come here because it’s convenient and they know what to expect. We just do our best every day to keep the doors open for everyone.
