We are based at 330K/1K in Vadgaon. It’s a bit away from the main city noise, which is a nice change of pace. We work with steel here. We’ve been at this specific location for quite a while now. It’s definitely not a polished corporate office. It’s more of a steel yard and a basic workshop. We have piles of metal beams and heavy cutting tools scattered around. The sound of clanging steel is what we hear from morning until night. We deal with local builders and other small shops that need specific steel pieces cut to size. We don't have a glossy catalog to show people. We just tell them what we have in stock and what we can do. Sometimes the weather makes the work difficult, especially when it is raining heavily on the yard. But we manage to get things done. We are a small team and we all pitch in with the heavy lifting when a truck arrives. We know most of our regular customers by their first names. We don't do much advertising because people usually find us through their friends. We focus on getting the right cuts and the right weight for every order. It’s a lot of physical labor and our clothes are usually covered in rust or dust by the end of the shift. We go home tired but it’s a good kind of feeling. We just want to keep the shop running well.
