Indu Flowers

Indu Flowers is over at Artharv Estate on Tarabai Park Road in Kolhapur. We are right opposite Hotel Pearl, which is a big help when we have to tell people where we are located. Working with flowers means our days start way before the sun is up. We have to get everything sorted and ready before the morning rush. Tarabai Park is a nice area, a bit quieter than the center of town but still active. Our shop is a bit small but it fits all the buckets and crates we need for the day's stock. We spend a lot of time cleaning stems and making sure everything looks okay. It’s messy work, honestly, with water and leaves everywhere on the floor by noon. People come in looking for things for all sorts of occasions, or sometimes just to have something on their table at home. We’ve been at this spot in Kolhapur for a good while. Being across from the hotel means we see a lot of travelers too. We don't do much fancy talk, we just show people what we have available that day. It’s simple work but it keeps us on our feet. The estate is easy to find if you are driving down Tarabai Park Road. We usually have the doors open to let the air in while we work on the orders. It gets a bit cold in the winter mornings but the flowers seem to like it.
