Hotel The Woodhouse

We are situated in Sangli, specifically near Damani Highschool at Chandani Chowk. If you go to the back side of the ICICI market yard, you will find us there. The location is practical because of the market being so close. There are always trucks and people moving goods around nearby. Our building is not the newest on the block, but we do what we can to keep it in good shape. We have a few floors of rooms. Some days are busier than others, especially when there is a lot of activity at the market yard. You might hear the school bells ringing during the day since the high school is right there. It is a local neighborhood vibe. We handle everything ourselves, from checking people in to making sure the lights are working. We don't use any fancy systems, just a ledger and some keys. The rooms are basic. We have some chairs in the common area where people sit and talk. Sometimes the traffic at Chandani Chowk gets backed up, so it can take a bit to get here by car or rickshaw. We usually tell people to look for the bank first to find us. We have been running things this way for a while now. It is just a regular job for us, making sure travelers have a place to sit down and rest for the night before they move on to their next destination. We just keep things moving.
