Hotel The Lotus Residency

Hotel The Lotus Residency is located right by Azad Chowk on Amrai Road here in Sangli. We’ve lived in this area for years, so setting up the hotel here felt right. Azad Chowk is a landmark that everyone knows, so we don't usually have to give long directions. The street gets pretty packed during the day with people going to work and kids heading to school. We have a few floors of rooms. They aren't huge, but they do the job if you're looking for a place to crash. We try to keep things tidy, though with the dust from the road, it’s a constant battle. The staff is just a few locals from the neighborhood who’ve become like family to us. We don’t have a big fancy menu, but we can usually tell you where to get the best food nearby. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow because of the thick walls, but most people don’t seem to mind too much. It’s a practical place for practical people. We aren't part of any big chain, just a local business trying to make ends meet. Every day is a bit different. One day we might be fixing a leaky faucet, and the next we’re helping a guest find their way to the station. It’s just life at the residency. We're glad to be a part of the Sangli community and we take things as they come.
