If you are in Sangli and heading towards the ST Stand, you’ll see us right across the street at Zulelal Chowk. Hotel Sharda Bhuvan has been a fixture in this area for a long time. Being opposite the bus stand means we get all sorts of people coming in at all hours. It’s a very noisy and active part of town, but that’s where the heart of the city is. We don't have a fancy lobby or expensive furniture. Everything here is simple and built to last. We focus on serving the travelers who just got off a long bus ride and need a quick meal or a place to wash up. The chowk is always crowded with rickshaws and vendors, so there is never a dull moment. We are just a local team running a local business. We don't have a big mission statement or corporate goals. Our main task is just to keep the place going and make sure the food is hot and the rooms are ready. Some days are more hectic than others, especially during festival times when the bus stand is overflowing. We’ve grown used to the chaos of Zulelal Chowk over the years. It’s just how life is here in Sangli, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep things honest and plain. There isn't much more to it than that.
