Start with the location in Mulbagal. We’ve been here at Mc Road for a while. The yard is usually full of dust and red mud. Every morning we get things going before the sun gets too high. It’s hard work making these bricks day after day. My hands are always stained with clay but that is just how it is. We have a few guys helping out and we just try to get the orders ready for the local builders. Sometimes the weather doesn't help us much. Rain stops everything and we have to cover the stacks quickly. People stop by 2-1-146 looking for a load or two for their house repairs. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It's just a small spot here. We stack them up and wait for the tractors to come. Dealing with the dirt is part of the life. We've seen a lot of houses go up in this area using what we make. It’s quiet mostly, except for when the trucks are backing in. We just keep our heads down and do what we know. There isn't much to say other than we work hard at Svb Bricks to keep the supply moving. If you pass by Mc Road you will see the piles right there. It gets busy during the dry months. We just stay busy and try to stay out of the midday heat when possible.
