Bmr Bricks

Bmr Bricks is located in Ramapuram Village, which is part of Mulbagal Tal. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but we have plenty of space for the kilns and the drying area. The soil in this part of the village is good for what we do. We’ve been working this land for quite some time now. It’s mostly family and local hands doing the work. We wake up early to beat the heat, though near the fire it’s always hot anyway. Our bricks go out to different sites all over the taluka. We don’t have any big slogans or fancy brochures to show people. Usually, people just drive their tractors down here and we load them up. It’s a very practical business. We deal with whatever the day brings, whether it’s a broken machine or a sudden rainstorm. You learn to be patient when you work with clay. It takes time to get things right. We don’t try to be the biggest, just want to keep the yard running and the workers paid. It’s a lot of dirt and sweat. Most days you’ll find us wearing old clothes covered in mud. That’s just the life of a brick maker in Ramapuram. We’re right here if you need to find us, just look for the stacks of red near the village edge. We don't complicate things much. We just make the bricks as they are needed and keep moving.
