Sree Vasavi Vidhya Vikas School

Sree Vasavi Vidhya Vikas School has been part of Malur for quite some time now. You can find us right on Bangalore Road, which gets pretty busy during the morning hours when everyone is heading to work or dropping their kids off. Our building isn't anything fancy, just a solid place where students spend their day. We have teachers who have lived in this area for years, so they know the families around here pretty well. Most mornings start with the sound of the bell and children running through the gates before they get shut. It's usually a bit chaotic until everyone settles into their desks. We try to keep things organized, but schools are naturally loud places with kids always talking or playing. The classrooms have wooden benches that have seen a lot of use over the seasons. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of the school quite hard, so we usually keep the shutters down a bit. We don't have a giant playground, but there is enough space for the kids to stretch their legs during the break. People in Malur know us as just another local spot where the youngsters go to learn their basics. We deal with the usual stuff like leaky taps or needing a fresh coat of paint every few years. It is just a regular school doing what it needs to do for the community here on this side of town.
