Jain School

You can find us over in Bharath Nagar, specifically in the BEML Nagar area of Kolar. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s usually pretty calm around here. The school has been part of this community for years. We aren't a massive institution, just a local school where kids from the surrounding blocks come to study. The rooms are basic with wooden desks and big windows to let in the air. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, but we have enough for what we need. The teachers are dedicated and they’ve been with us for a long time. They know which kid is struggling with their homework and who’s likely to be causing trouble in the back row. We have a simple routine: assembly in the morning, classes until lunch, and then a few more hours of work. The playground is small, but it gets a lot of use during the breaks. We don’t put on airs or try to look like those expensive schools in the big cities. We just focus on the basics and making sure the children are safe and learning. The office is usually busy with parents asking about fees or uniforms. It's a very down-to-earth place where people work hard and the days go by quickly. We like it that way. No one is trying to be fancy here; we just want the kids to do well and the school to stay open for them.
