Yathra Tours And Travels

We’ve been running Yathra Tours And Travels out of Vadakancheri for a good while now. It’s a small office where we spend most of our time looking at bus schedules and train timings. People from around town walk in whenever they need to get somewhere, whether it’s just to the next city or a longer trip for a family holiday. We have a few chairs for people to sit while we check the computer for available seats. It gets a bit busy during the festival seasons when everyone wants to go home at the same time. The phone rings a lot, and we try to answer it as fast as we can, but sometimes we’re already talking to someone at the desk. We don’t have any big posters or fancy decorations, just a map on the wall and some old calendars. Vadakancheri is a nice place to work from because we know most of the people who come through the door. We handle a lot of the local bookings and sometimes help people figure out their hotel stays if they’re going somewhere they haven't been before. It’s straightforward work. We just sit here, pull up the details, and print out the tickets. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to ask people to wait a minute. It’s just a normal day-to-day business for us here. We like being part of the community and helping folks get where they need to go. We keep it simple.
