We are located on the first floor of building number 2298 along Sahakarana Road. It’s a pretty straightforward spot. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you're carrying a lot of bags. We spend most of our time dealing with tours. It involves a lot of phone calls and checking schedules. Sahakarana Road gets quite busy, so there’s always the sound of horns coming through the windows. Our office isn’t anything fancy. It’s just a few desks and a lot of files piled up. We have a couple of maps on the wall that are starting to peel at the corners. We aren't a big travel agency with a lot of branches. We just stay here and work on the trips that people ask us for. Sometimes things get complicated with flight timings or bus routes, and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out. We don’t use any special scripts when people call. We just talk like we’re talking to a neighbor. It’s a lot of paperwork, honestly. We keep track of everything in big ledgers and on the computer. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink coffee, but other days everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time. We’ve been in this building for a while now and the locals know us. It’s how we’ve always done it, and it seems to work out okay for everyone involved.
