Cochin Granite International

You can find Cochin Granite International right on the National Highway Bye Pass in Maradu. It’s a busy spot with lots of traffic going by all day. We have quite a bit of stone sitting out where people can see it. Moving granite around is heavy work, so we’re always using the equipment to shift slabs here and there. The yard at Maradu is where we spend most of our time. It gets hot out there during the day, but we're used to it. We deal with a lot of different types of stone. People come by to look at the patterns and colors for their floors or counters. We don't have a glossy brochure. Usually, we just walk around the yard with whoever stops in and show them what’s currently in stock. Being on the National Highway Bye Pass makes it easy for trucks to get in and out, which is important for us. There’s always dust from cutting or moving the stone, so it’s not the cleanest job in the world. We just focus on the slabs we have and getting them to the right people. Maradu is a good area for this kind of business. We’ve been here long enough that most locals recognize the sign. It’s a simple operation, really. Just some folks working with stone every day and making sure the orders get delivered.
