M. K. Imports & Exports

We're right at Puthiya Road Junction. It's quite a busy intersection with all the shops and pedestrians. M. K. Imports & Exports has been here for years, and we've gotten used to the constant horn honking outside. Most of the day is just dealing with the paperwork involved in bringing stuff in and sending stuff out. We have a small office, nothing too big, just enough for a few desks and some storage for files. Sometimes the humidity in this part of town gets to be a bit much, but the ceiling fan keeps things moving. We aren't a big corporation with departments; we just handle whatever comes across the desk. If you need to drop off a document, we are usually here from early morning. The junction makes it easy for the delivery trucks to find us, even if the traffic is a mess in the evenings. We don't do much in the way of advertising because we've been around long enough that people just know where we are. It's honest work, mostly just tracking containers and making sure the customs fees are sorted. Sometimes we share a tea with the other shop owners at the junction when things are slow. We don't have a website or anything, just a phone line and a desk. That’s just how we run things here.
