Our factory is tucked away in the Major Industrial Estate in South Kalamassery. If you head towards Vanniyamparambil, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s a typical industrial spot with lots of big sheds and heavy vehicles. At Leetha Pack, we spend our time around large rolls of material and big printing presses. The noise is constant once the machines start up in the morning. We do a lot of packaging work, so there are always stacks of cardboard and plastic around the floor. It’s a hands-on kind of place. The office is just a small section partitioned off from the main production area so we can stay close to what’s happening. We don't wear suits or ties here; it’s mostly work clothes that can get a bit of ink on them. The heat in the afternoon can be tough, but we have big exhaust fans to keep the air moving. We’ve been part of this industrial community for quite a while now. Most of our workers have been with us for years. We don't spend money on fancy marketing brochures or polished websites. We just focus on making sure the boxes and wraps are cut right and the colors look okay. It’s a busy, messy, productive life in the heart of the estate. We just get on with the job and try to keep the machines running smoothly until the end of the shift.
