Indian Emporium

We've been at Ii/77 Calvetty Road for quite some time now. Most people know us just by looking for the sign near the old post box area. It’s a busy spot with all sorts of folks walking by. We handle all kinds of goods here at Indian Emporium. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we keep things moving as best as we can. The building itself has seen better days, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it does the job for us. My family has been involved in this for years, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. We usually open up pretty early in the morning when the street is still quiet. Calvetty Road gets pretty crowded by midday with all the traffic, so we try to get most of our heavy lifting done before then. People come by to pick up orders or just to see what we have on the shelves today. We don't really do much advertising. Most of our work comes from people who’ve been coming here since they were kids. It’s a lot of paperwork sometimes, especially with the post box address getting mixed up, but we manage. If you’re walking down the road, you’ll probably see one of the guys standing outside. We don’t have a big fancy showroom with lights. It’s mostly just stock and boxes everywhere. We just try to keep things honest and make sure people get what they need without too much fuss.
