Institute Of Professional Studies (Ips)

You can find us on Old Railway Station Road here in Kochi. Ips has been operating out of this part of the city for many years. We focus on what we call professional studies. That basically means we give people the practical skills they need for office work or other specific jobs. The building we are in is an older one, but it is sturdy and has plenty of room for our classes. We have different sections set up for the various courses we offer. It is definitely not a polished corporate office with fancy rugs. It is a place meant for getting work done and learning. Most of the staff members have been working here for a long time. We usually know our students by their first names. It feels a bit more personal that way compared to the big institutions. We don't really do much in the way of big marketing or fancy brochures. People usually find out about us because their friends or family members came here years ago. The location on Old Railway Station Road is good because it is near the center of things but still a bit tucked away from the heaviest traffic. We offer different programs depending on what a person is looking to learn. Some are short and some take a bit longer. We spend most of our time on the practical parts of the job. It’s just how we do things every day around here.
