India Christian Bible College

You can find us over in Thengode, which is part of the Kakkanad area in Kochi. Being here in Kerala, we get a lot of rain for part of the year, so the building is built to handle that. India Christian Bible College is where people come to study and spend time thinking about their faith. It’s a quiet place for the most part. We have a library that stays pretty full most afternoons. The staff stays in the offices to help with registrations and answering the phone. It’s not a loud environment. We have a garden area where people sit when it’s not too hot outside. Most of the people here are very focused on their books. We’ve been at this address for some time now. It’s easy to get to from the main road if you know the turns. We don't do a lot of shouting about what we do. People just find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby. The classrooms are simple, just chairs and tables. We make sure the coffee and tea are ready in the break times. It’s a place of routine. Wake up, study, eat, and talk. We don't have big advertisements on the street. Just a sign so you know you've arrived at the right spot. It feels like a small community inside the bigger city of Kochi. Most students stay nearby and walk in every morning without much fuss. There is a sense of peace here.
