E Holidays

Down on K. P. Vallon Road in Kadavantra, we have this small office at number 29/630. It’s where we handle all the travel stuff for E Holidays. The road is usually quite busy with traffic, so there is always a bit of a hum in the background. We don't have a lot of staff, just a couple of us who know the travel business well enough to help people out. Most of our day is spent comparing prices and looking at schedules on the computer. It’s a lot of back-and-forth emails and phone calls. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait, but that’s just part of being in this area. We like it here because it is easy for people to stop by while they are doing their other errands. There’s no big sign with flashing lights, just our name on the door. We don't try to push anything on people; we just tell them what is available and let them decide. It’s a simple way of doing business. We’ve known some of our customers for years, and they just drop in for a chat even when they aren't going anywhere. We keep a stash of biscuits and some tea for when things get slow. It is a practical little office, and it works for us. We just take things one booking at a time and try to keep the paperwork organized.
