Siladon Van Dhan Producer Company Limited

Down in Khunti, in a small village called Aloundi, we have the Siladon Van Dhan Producer Company Limited. Our post office is Tarosiladon and we fall under the Khunti police station. It’s a very green area, lots of trees and forest stuff. That is why we call it Van Dhan. We collect what the forest gives us and try to make a living. It isn't easy work and your hands get dirty fast. People in Vill-Aloundi know us well. We don't have a big corporate building, just a place to store our things and talk. The pin code is 835221 if you are looking for it. Life moves a bit slower here than in the big cities. We spend a lot of time outdoors. Sometimes we see tourists passing through Khunti, but they don't usually stop in our village. We manage everything ourselves, from the gathering to the packing. It feels good to have our own company name on the bags. My cousin helps with the counting and we try to keep things organized. The weather changes everything here. If the season is good, we are all happy. If not, we just have to wait. We aren't looking to be famous or anything. We just want to make sure the people in Aloundi and Tarosiladon can get a fair price for their hard work. It's a quiet life but we like it this way.
