Paschimeswar Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are located at Plot No.695/734 in BJB Nagar, right here in Bhubaneswar. It’s a bit different being a farmers producer company based in the city, but it works for us. We use this spot as a base to connect the rural farms with the people living here. Most of our members are out in the fields away from the city noise, but we need this place in 751014 to handle the logistics and the selling side of things. It’s not a shiny corporate office. Usually, there are a few chairs, some stacks of registers, and someone talking on a mobile phone about crop prices. Paschimeswar Farmers Producer Company Limited was started because the farmers needed a way to reach the bigger markets without getting lost in the shuffle. We spend our mornings checking on supply lines and our afternoons dealing with the typical city traffic. It’s a lot of coordination. You wouldn't think a bunch of farming talk would happen in BJB Nagar, but that’s where we gather. We don’t use fancy talk or big strategies. We just look at what the land produced this week and figure out where it needs to go. Sometimes we have meetings that go on too long because everyone has a different opinion on the harvest. It is honest work, even if we are sitting behind a desk in Bhubaneswar for part of the day. It gets the job done.
