Omm Shanti College Of Science & Technology is right at Hospital Square in Pipili. Being in Puri, we get a lot of people passing through, and the area near the hospital is always packed with people and vehicles. The college is in a building that doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside, it’s a bit of a mix of classrooms and small labs for the science and tech subjects. We have some computers that are a few years old, and we try to keep them running. The labs have various bits of equipment, some of it a bit worn out from use. It’s a busy environment because of the location. You can hear the noise of the traffic and the sirens from the hospital all day. We have a small group of instructors who handle everything. There isn't a big administration department, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from fixing a broken chair to helping with student registrations. The students are mostly local young people who want to learn a trade or get a degree. We don't have a big campus with grass and trees. It’s more of an urban setting. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the students know what they need for their exams. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place in a very busy part of town. We are just here doing our thing every day.
