Golden Public Convent School Ballia

We started this place back when there wasn't much in Patia. It's Golden Public Convent School Ballia, tucked away on Plot 459/63/1 in Kanan Vihar. People ask why the name says Ballia when we are right here in Bhubaneshwar, but that's just how it is. Mostly, the days here are loud. Kids are everywhere from the morning till the afternoon bell. We don't have those fancy glass walls you see in new offices. It’s just a school with classrooms and some old desks. We spend a lot of time keeping the hallways clean and making sure the gate stays shut so nobody wanders out. The weather gets really hot here in the summer, so we try to keep the fans running all day. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows and keep going. It’s not a big corporate operation. We know the parents and we know the kids by their first names. If a child forgets their lunch, we usually find something for them to eat. It's just a regular school where we teach the basics and try to make sure everyone gets along. The address is 751017, which is a busy area these days. It used to be quieter around here. Now there are cars and bikes everywhere. We just focus on what’s inside the walls and getting through the school year without too much trouble. It's a lot of work, but it's what we do.
