God Convent Public J. High School

We've been over here at Unit 8 for a while now, right near the Dav Power House at A62/1. It’s a busy spot in Khurda. The school is a junior high, so we deal with kids in those middle years when they're starting to grow up. It gets pretty loud in the hallways between classes, but that’s just how schools are. We keep things simple here. The building isn't fancy or anything, but it works for what we need. Most of the staff live nearby, so we know the families around Bhubaneswar well. Sometimes the power goes out or the traffic gets bad outside, but we just get on with the day. We don't have a big fancy website or anything like that. People usually just walk in if they need to talk to someone. The classrooms have desks and boards, and the teachers just focus on getting through the lessons. It's a regular place where local kids come to learn their basics. We try to keep the yard tidy, though the kids usually leave a bit of a mess after lunch. That's life with junior high students, I guess. We've seen a lot of kids pass through these doors over the years. Some of them come back to visit when they're older, which is nice to see. We just stay open and do the work every morning starting early. We don't make a big deal out of things. We just keep our heads down and do our work.
