Gobardhana High School

Gobardhana High School sits on the 2nd floor of the N B Tower over in Nayapalli. This is in the 751012 part of Bhubaneshwar. It’s an office building, so we share the space with a few other businesses. You have to take the stairs or the lift to get up to us. We have converted the space into classrooms for high school students. It’s quite a central location, so it is easy for everyone to get here using the local transport. We don’t have a big yard for the kids to run around in, so they usually head out to the local parks or just hang out in the hallways during their breaks. The rooms are basic, with enough chairs and desks for everyone. We have a small staff room where the teachers sit and grade papers. It’s not a very quiet place since Nayapalli is a busy area with lots of traffic and shops, but we are used to the noise. We don’t spend money on marketing or fancy signs. Most of our students live in the nearby apartment blocks. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure everyone is ready for their exams. The building can get a bit warm in the summer, but we have fans running to keep things moving. It’s a practical way to run a school in a crowded city. We just do our best with the space we have every single day.
