We have been here in Matar for quite some time now. Shri N C Parikh Sarvodaya Vinay Mandir isn't a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a solid building where kids from around Kheda come to learn. Most of us who work here have lived in this area for years, so we know the families pretty well. Usually, the mornings are the busiest. You see students walking in or coming on cycles. The bell rings, and things get quiet for a bit, then you hear the usual noise of classrooms. We don't have a huge staff, but everyone knows what they need to do. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer months. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes paperwork piles up on the desks. That is just how it goes in a school like this. Parents often drop by to check on how their kids are doing or to ask about some form they need to sign. We talk to them plainly. There is no need for big words here. The playground isn't perfect, but it gets used every single day. We make sure the rooms stay clean enough for the children. People in Matar know where we are located. We just keep the doors open and do the work that needs doing. It is a simple place, really. Just a school in the middle of our community doing what schools are supposed to do.
