Don Bosco English Medium School

Our school is situated in Kheda, and it’s been a part of this town for many years. People just call us Don Bosco. The building is easy to spot once you get into the main area. We have a good number of classrooms and a space for the students to gather for morning assembly. It’s a regular school day here, starting early and ending in the afternoon. We teach all the standard subjects in English. The teachers have their own ways of doing things, but we all follow the same syllabus. The playground gets a lot of use during the lunch break. We have some trees around the perimeter that provide a bit of shade. It’s not a fancy private school with air conditioning everywhere. We just use fans and keep the windows open. Sometimes the pigeons get into the eaves and make a bit of a mess. We just clean it up and keep going. Parents come by to pick up their kids or to ask about the next holiday. We try to keep the records straight in the office, but sometimes the paperwork piles up. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise and energy. We just aim to provide a steady place for the local kids to come and get their schooling done. Every day has its own set of small problems, but we manage.
