Sagar International School

Sagar International School is out near the Vatamantarapur Highway in the Bamangam area of Anand. Being near the highway means it's easy to get to, though we have to keep a close eye on the traffic when the buses are coming and going. The school sits on a decent piece of land, so there’s a bit more room to breathe compared to schools in the middle of a crowded city. We have several classrooms and a flat area where the students can play or do sports. It’s a basic building, nothing too fancy, but it does what it needs to do for the daily classes. Most of our staff comes in from Anand or the nearby villages. We spend our days going through the lessons and trying to keep the students focused on their books. It can be a bit of a struggle when it's hot outside, but we manage with fans and open windows. You’ll often see parents stopping by to drop off a forgotten lunch box or to have a quick word with a teacher at the gate. We try to keep things on an even keel and don't make a big show of things. It’s just a school where we try to give the kids a solid start. We don't have a lot of extra bells and whistles, just the usual desks, benches, and teachers who put in the effort every day to help the children learn. We just do our work here.
