New English School For Girls

Located in the Amdavadi Bazar area of Kheda, you’ll find our school at Rajan Sadan. It’s a school specifically for girls. The building has been around for quite a long time and has that old-fashioned feel to it. Being in the bazaar area means it’s always lively outside. There’s the sound of the market and people going about their business right at our doorstep. Inside, we try to keep things a bit more focused. It’s a simple setup with rows of desks and basic blackboards. We don’t have a lot of money for modern upgrades, so we make do with what we’ve got. The girls who come here are mostly from the local families in Kheda. Many of their mothers and even grandmothers came to this same school. It feels like a big family sometimes. We don’t have a fancy website or a PR person. We just teach the lessons and help the girls get through their school years. The staff room is small and usually smells like tea and old papers. It’s a practical environment. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a local girls' school doing its best in the middle of a busy town. Everyone in the bazaar knows us and we’re just part of the daily life here. It can get noisy but we don't mind much.
