Traneeka Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out in Village Bagud. We work with Ramesh Bapu at the Bagud Oil Mill. This is in the Barwaha Tehsil, part of the Khargone district. Working at an oil mill means there is always a specific smell in the air and plenty of work to do with the seeds. We are a group of farmers who decided to handle our own business instead of letting others do it for us. It’s a lot of work, honestly. We have to manage the village side of things while also keeping an eye on how the mill is running. Ramesh Bapu keeps things moving at the site. We don't have a big corporate office; we mostly meet where the work is happening. The machines need grease and the bags need stacking. We spend a lot of time talking about the quality of the oil and how the crops are looking in the surrounding fields. It’s a local effort, through and through. We know the people in Barwaha and they know us. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just crush the seeds and sell what comes out. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. If you’re ever in Khargone, you’ll see that we are just regular folks trying to make the mill work for everyone involved. We just keep doing what we know best.
