Zpss High School

Zpss High School is in Govindrala, which is a part of the Khammam district. This is a very local school, and it serves the families living in and around the village area. The setting is quite simple compared to the big schools you see in the cities. We have a decent sized ground where the kids play kabaddi or cricket during their breaks. The classrooms are basic with chalkboards and wooden benches that have seen a lot of use. In Govindrala, things move a bit slower, and the school follows that same pace. Most of our students come from farming backgrounds, so they are hard-working kids. The teachers are often seen talking to parents near the gate about how things are going at home. We have the national flags up during holidays, and the morning assembly is a daily routine that everyone attends. The roof is solid, but you can hear the rain very clearly when the monsoon hits this part of Telangana. It’s just a place for learning the basics like math and social studies. We don’t have a big website or a lot of posters, just the school name on the front and the classes happening inside. It’s a practical institution for the local community who need a nearby high school for their children. It’s been sitting here for years and doesn't change much, which is fine for most people living around Govindrala.
