Creative High School

Creative High School is found at 2-3-328, Gandhichowk in the middle of Khammam. Being right at the chowk means there is always noise from the street, but we have gotten used to it over the years. The school is a vertical building since space is limited in this part of town. We have classrooms on several floors, and the stairs get a lot of use every day. We don't have a big garden or a huge field. We just have the building and the rooms where the teaching happens. The name says Creative, but we are a very traditional high school when it comes to the work. We follow the board exams and use the standard textbooks. The teachers are local staff who know the families in Khammam well. We don't have a marketing department or glossy brochures to hand out. If parents want to know about us, they just walk into the office on the ground floor. We spend our time checking homework and preparing for the next day's lessons. The students are mostly from the local neighborhood and they walk or take autos to get here. It is a very busy, practical place. We don't have any extra frills or expensive technology. We just make sure the students learn their math and science and whatever else is on the schedule. It is a regular job for us and we just keep it going year after year.
