Master Minds High School

We have been here in Subhash Nagar for a good while now. It is usually pretty quiet around Yellandu until the morning bell rings at Master Minds High School. You will see parents dropping off their kids on motorbikes or just walking them to the gate before work. Our building is not fancy, but it does the job. Most of us who work here live nearby, so we know the families in the area quite well. Sometimes the power goes out in Khammam, and we just open the windows wider to let the air in. The classrooms have those old wooden benches that have seen a lot of students over the years. We spend our days making sure the kids actually open their books and pay attention during their lessons. It gets dusty during the dry season, so there is always someone sweeping the front steps. Lunchtime is the loudest part of the day because everyone sits out in the shade if it isn't too hot. We do not have a big fancy website or anything like that. Most people just walk into the office if they need to talk to us about something. It is a basic setup, really. We focus on the lessons and making sure the kids behave themselves while they are away from home. Every afternoon, the streets get busy again when school lets out. It is just how life goes here. We are just a local school doing what we can with what we have.
