Padmini Transport

Padmini Transport is a small outfit we run from our place at H. No. 2-43. We are located in Thavisi Bodu, which is a quiet village in Relakayalapalli. Being in the Singareni Mandal, we mostly handle local transport for the folks around here. It isn't a massive company with hundreds of trucks. We have a few reliable vehicles that we take care of ourselves. The business started out years ago and it’s always been a family thing. We don't have a big office building. Our paperwork is usually done at the kitchen table or in the yard where the trucks are parked. In this line of work, you never really know when the day will end. A truck might get stuck in the mud during the rains or have a breakdown on a long haul. We do our own repairs most of the time to save money. We transport all sorts of things, like farm produce or bags of cement for local builders. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. Most of our jobs come through a simple phone call or someone stopping by the house in Relakayalapalli. We know the roads of this district very well. It’s a tough way to earn a living with the rising fuel costs and the long hours, but it’s what we know how to do. We just focus on getting the load there safely and coming back home. We’ve been through a lot of rainy seasons and hot summers on these roads.
