M K R Travels

M K R Travels is based right in the middle of Guttla Bazar at H. No. 3-1-92. Being in the Urban Mandal of district 507003, it stays pretty lively around our office. We are right there in the thick of it where the shops are and people are always walking by. We started this travel business because we wanted to provide a way for families and workers to get around without having to worry about the schedules of the big public buses. We have a couple of different vehicles we use. Sometimes they are out all day on long trips and other times they just do short runs around town. It is a lot of maintenance work to keep them running well in this heat and on these streets. I spend a lot of time talking to drivers and making sure everyone knows where they are supposed to be. It is not always perfect. Sometimes there is traffic or a flat tire, but we just handle it and move on. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything. We just want to keep the business going so we can support our families. People in Guttla Bazar know they can just walk into the house or call us up when they need a ride. It is a very local way of doing things, and that seems to suit everyone just fine here in town.
