Avinash Travels

Avinash Travels is run right out of Govindapuram Village, near the Laxmipuram Post. We are in the Bonakal Mandal district. It’s a quiet village and we like being based here. We have a few cars that we use to help people get around the area. A lot of our work is taking people to the city for hospital visits or to the station. We also do a lot of trips for weddings where a whole family needs to get to another town together. I spend most of my life on the road, looking at the dashboard and watching out for potholes. The vehicles need a lot of washing because the roads can get really dusty or muddy depending on the time of year. We aren't a big travel agency with a glass office. It’s just us and our phone. People call us up and we tell them if we are free. Sometimes we are busy for days straight and other times it’s quiet and we just sit at home. I know these roads like the back of my hand by now. We try to be on time but sometimes the traffic is just too much to handle. We’ve been living in Govindapuram for our whole lives, so everyone knows where to find us. It’s a decent way to earn a living and we get to meet all sorts of people on their way to different places. We just keep the tires moving.
