Our office is right here at Plot No.217 in Padmapur. If you are coming through Anandpur, you probably know the area. It is a bit of a drive but we have been here for a while now. Goldencrop Farmers Producer Companylimited is basically just a group of us who got together to handle the farming business in a way that makes sense for everyone involved. We spend most of our time out in the fields or checking on the crops, so the office is just where we keep the paperwork. It is not a fancy place, just a regular spot in the village. Most people around here know where Padmapur is. We try to keep things simple because farming is hard enough as it is. Some days are busier than others, especially when the harvest comes around. We have got our roots in this soil. Being a producer company means we have to talk to a lot of different people, but at the end of the day, it's about the crops. The weather is always a big topic of conversation for us. Sometimes it rains too much, sometimes not enough. We just deal with what we get. If you see the sign for Anandapur, you are close. We are just local people trying to make a living and keep the farms going. There is always something to fix or some meeting to go to, but we like the work. It is home for us and we just keep at it.
