Gupti Farmers Producer Company Limited

Gupti Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out in the Rajnagar area. Our main spot is at Plot No 97 in Banabiharipur Gupti. It is right in the middle of Kendrapara, which is a good place for farming. The air smells like the coast sometimes because we aren't too far from the water in this part of Orissa. Most of the folks around here have been farming their whole lives. We set up the company to help organize the local produce. The office is just a simple building on the plot. It gets quite hot in the middle of the day, so we usually start very early in the morning when it is still cool enough to work. There is a lot of green around the office, which is nice to look at while we work at our desks. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity with shiny offices. We are just local farmers from Rajnagar trying to make things work for everyone in Gupti. You can usually find a couple of us sitting on the porch talking about the latest rainfall or how the soil is doing this season. We don't have any fancy brochures to hand out. People just know where we are if they need to talk to us about the crops. Kendrapara is a quiet district for the most part, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and focus on the crops and the people who grow them.
