We are based out of Ward No. 5 in Majholi, which is part of the Sihora area in Katni. If you're looking for us, we’re located over at Ratnesh Kumar Chobey’s place. Vrashank Kisan Fed Producer Company Limited was started because a few of us kisan realized that doing everything alone was getting too expensive. Things like fertilizer and transport cost so much these days. So we put our names together to form this company. It's not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a small room where we sit down and talk about the harvest. Madhya Pradesh has good soil, but you have to work it hard to get anything out of it. We mainly focus on what the farmers in our immediate area need. Sometimes it's just about getting a better price for the wheat or whatever else is growing that season. We've been doing this for a bit now, and while it's a lot of paperwork, it helps the local families stay on their feet. There are plenty of challenges, like the rain coming at the wrong time, but we deal with it as it happens. Being in Majholi means we are close to the fields, so we aren't disconnected from what's actually happening on the ground. We just want to make sure the work is fair for everyone involved in the group.
