Shivay Upbhokta Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Khamaria, right at Pawan Kumar Singh’s place. It is a busy spot most days because there is always something to handle with the local farms. We spend a lot of time talking to the folks around here about what they are growing and how the season is looking. It’s mostly just us trying to keep things organized. Some days the paperwork piles up on the desk, and other days we are out meeting people near the fields. It isn’t a fancy office or anything like that, just a place where we get the work done. Khamaria is a quiet enough place but when the harvest starts, everyone is moving. We try to keep track of what’s needed, whether it’s seeds or just figuring out where the produce is going next. It’s hard work and the weather doesn't always help us out, but that is just how it goes in this line of business. People stop by Pawan’s place to ask questions or just to see what’s new. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the area well. We’ve been at this for a bit now and we just take it one day at a time, making sure the farmers get what they need to keep their land going. It is simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We like it that way.
