Ridhi Sidhi Traders is right here at House No. 37 in Village Bhajiya. It’s not a store with a big glass front. It’s just a house where we do our trading. The Post Office Bhajiya is close by, so that’s a landmark for anyone trying to find us. We are in Tehsil Badwara, which is a quiet place for the most part. In the mornings, you can hear the birds and the occasional tractor. We open up early and start moving things around. The rooms in the house are filled with whatever we are trading that season. It smells a bit like earth and old paper in here. We don't have a computer system that tracks everything. Most of it is in our heads or in the notebooks on the kitchen table. Ridhi Sidhi Traders is a small operation. We don’t have employees in uniforms. It’s just family and a couple of helpers from the village. Sometimes we sit outside on the porch when there aren't any customers. We watch the clouds and talk about the rain. The road out front gets muddy when it pours. We’ve lived in Bhajiya all our lives. This business is just an extension of our daily life. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know our name and where House No. 37 is. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in this part of Badwara.
