Ankita Chaat Bhandar

We are located in Skylark Market over in the Tehsil Camp area of Panipat. This market gets very crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. We have our little spot here where we make chaat for the people walking by. It is a small place but we keep it busy. The stove is always hot and we are always mixing things up. People from all over Tehsil Camp come by for a quick bite. It is not like a big restaurant where you sit for hours. You come in, get your plate, and enjoy it. We have been in this part of Panipat for a long time. My father started this and now we are still at it every single day. The noise from the market is constant, but you get used to it after a while. Sometimes the line gets long and people have to wait, but we move as fast as we can. We use what we have and keep things simple. It's just about making decent food that people around here like. There isn't much to the shop itself, just the counters and the spices. We open up in the afternoon and stay until the market starts to quiet down at night. It's hard work but it's what we know. The smell of the spices usually lets people know we are open. It's just a basic stall but it's been our life for years. We just keep the plates moving for everyone.
