Our school is a very modest building that we have tried to maintain over the years. It isn't a modern structure with glass walls or anything like that. It is just brick and mortar with a few trees scattered around the yard for some shade. The teachers come in from the nearby villages every morning, often sharing rides or taking the bus. Extra things aren't really available here. We just have our classrooms, some old wooden furniture, and a small room that we use as an office. During the monsoon, the roof makes a lot of noise, but the lessons carry on anyway. The students are mostly local kids who have grown up in this area. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing brochures to show people. If you want to see what we do, you just have to come by and see the classes in action. Most of the day is spent teaching the basics and making sure everyone follows the rules. It is a very simple and honest way of living and working. We are just a small part of the life here in Kesavapatnam and we like it that way.
