This is the Govt. Degree And Pg College For Women. We are located at Kashmirgadda in Karimnagar 505001. The address also mentions Addanki which can be a bit confusing for some people but we are right here in the heart of things. It is a place for women to come and get their degrees. We have undergraduate classes and some post-graduate stuff too. The building is a government one so it looks like what you would expect with lots of concrete and simple paint on the walls. We do not have anything fancy like air conditioning in every room but we have enough fans to get by. The students come in from all over the Karimnagar area often taking the local buses. It is a busy place during the day with all the lectures going on and students sitting in the shade outside. We spend our time managing the registers and making sure the classrooms are ready for the next group. It is a practical environment for everyone. There is a lot of walking between the different blocks of the college. We have a small staff room where we sit and have our lunch. You will find us busy with exams and admissions most of the year. It is just a standard government college where we try to keep things organized. We do not do big ads or anything. The women who come here usually hear about us from their neighbors or sisters. We just keep the gates open.
